Thanks for stopping by!

I've been designing and building software professionally for over a decade. Whether it's evolving what we already have or creating something entirely new, I love figuring out what to build.

I usually work by creating a design concept around where we're headed (like a video that shows the expected user journey), then break that down into buildable chunks. Of course, the vision might change over time, but it's a great way to align the team / management.

About me

Originally from Hungary 🇭🇺, I'm a dad of three, happily married, and living in southern Sweden.

In my free time, I love playing Nintendo games, indulging in retro platforms and architectures, and doing sports whenever I can. I'm also passionate about pixel art.

My first name, József, is the Hungarian version of Joseph. In Hungarian, it's often shortened to Józsi. When pronounced in English-speaking countries, often sounds like Yoshi. The nickname stuck, and that's what most people call me.

Being a designer I focus on

Being a designer I focus on

  • What creates the most impact

  • Define the steps needed to get there

  • Maximize output with minimal resources

  • Limit how many details we take on, but sweat over the rest

Simple solutions are easy to talk about but hard to achieve. You know you're on the right track when people look at your design and say, "Wait... that’s it?"
